Blinded Paths
Layer 2● Common

A routing privacy technique where the receiver provides encrypted route hints to their node. Senders can reach the destination without learning the final node's identity or location in the network graph.

Technical Notes

Receiver creates path through introduction nodes with encrypted (blinded) hops. Each hop decrypts its instructions and forwards. Sender only knows the introduction node. Used in BOLT 12 offers for receiver privacy.
