Technical Notes
Efficiency measured in J/TH (joules per terahash). Current gen: ~20 J/TH. Major manufacturers: Bitmain (Antminer), MicroBT (Whatsminer), Canaan. ASIC dominance created mining centralization concerns. Some altcoins use 'ASIC-resistant' algorithms, though this is often temporary.
