Technical Notes
SPV: downloads headers (~60 MB), requests merkle proofs for relevant transactions. BIP-37 bloom filters: privacy leak. Neutrino (BIP-157/158): compact block filters, better privacy. Electrum model: trusts specific servers. Trade-off: reduced security vs full node.
