Mining Container / Mobile Mining
Mining● Common
A self-contained, transportable mining unit built in a shipping container with ASICs, power distribution, cooling, and network connectivity. Can be rapidly deployed to locations with cheap energy. Common for stranded energy monetization and flexible operations.
Technical Notes
Typical capacity: 200-500+ kW, 50-200 miners per container. Variants: air-cooled, immersion-cooled. Deployment: oil fields (flare gas), solar/wind farms (curtailment), hydroelectric (stranded). Mobility enables chasing cheap energy and regulatory arbitrage.
